FOSTER HOME

Every foster home we have saves a life a week! Most of our dogs are adopted within one week, so we can save more dogs if we have more foster homes. We pay all vet care for our foster dogs so the only cost to the foster family is for dog food. If a dog requires special food we will pay for special food. We can provide references from our current foster families if you would like to make sure you would be comfortable working with us.

We don't have background on most of these dogs. However, they have been deemed to be friendly and adoptable. We usually don't know if they do well with cats.  Most have been housetrained but they often need retraining since they've been living in cement and wire kennels. Because these are usually stray dogs, they have already demonstrated a tendency to roam. Thus either a fenced yard or diligent supervision on leash is important to prevent their becoming lost again.

You may accept as many or as few foster dogs as you wish, and every effort will be made to match dogs with your situation. If a foster dog does not work out we will move the dog, and even kennel the dog if necessary. You can foster for us regularly or intermittently.
